Industrial Applications of Artificial Intelligence – Professional Diploma

As part of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport’s ongoing commitment—represented by the Industry Service Complex (Institute for Technical and Vocational Studies)—to providing advanced training programs that align with the evolving needs of the labor market, the Academy is offering a 100-hour Professional Diploma in Artificial Intelligence (Industrial Applications of Artificial Intelligence). Conducted online every Friday and Saturday, the program enables participants to complete ten real-world projects covering programming, machine learning, and deep learning applications, such as developing Python packages, predictive models, recommendation systems, object detection, chatbots, and more. Available at both the Alexandria and Cairo (Smart Village) campuses, the scholarship covers 50% of tuition fees for students with a minimum of 80% in their previous educational qualifications. As part of the coordination between the Special Courses and Simulators Department, the Industrial Service Complex, and the Specialized Maritime Training Department, two specialized training courses were conducted for trainees from Bahri Saudi Company. This program is designed to equip industry professionals with cutting-edge skills to enhance production efficiency and drive the modernization of Egypt’s manufacturing sector.
On November 16th, 2022, the third and final phase of the training units developed for the Regional Institute of River Transport was successfully delivered and installed. These units, designed by the Research and Development (R&D) department using the Industry Service Complex (ISC) lab facilities, aim to enhance practical training at the River Transport Authority (RTA). The training units include models of marine engines, pumps, and other components crucial for river transport education. This project, part of an agreement between the RTA and the Maritime Research and Consultation Center (MRCC) of AASTMT, has resulted in eight advanced training models delivered across three phases. These models, including a two-stroke marine diesel engine, demonstrate real ship components and are equipped with features for practical learning and fault diagnosis. The RTA representatives have praised the training models for their high standards and alignment with international training specifications.
