2023-2024

The Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT) is dedicated to fostering lifelong learning and community engagement through a variety of complimentary events, including lectures, workshops, and conferences that tackle contemporary issues. The Academy enriches cultural life through art exhibitions and performances, collaborates on community priorities such as marine conservation, and provides accessible online education and support for individuals with disabilities.

In the 2023-2024 academic year, AASTMT successfully organized over 40 international conferences and professional workshops, attracting more than 6,000 participants. The Academy places a strong emphasis on inclusivity and knowledge sharing to promote lifelong learning and sustainable growth. Collaborations with esteemed organizations like UNESCO and the World Bank enhance AASTMT's capacity to advance education and public engagement, aligning with Sustainable Development Goal 4.3.2. All events are free or open to the public and focus on themes of sustainability, gender equality, and youth empowerment.

The International Collegiate Programming Contest “Opening Ceremony”

Date: April 16, 2024

On April 16, 2024, the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport (AASTMT) inaugurated the International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC) in Luxor, Egypt, under the patronage of H.E. Abdel Fattah El-Sisi, President of the Arab Republic of Egypt. This prestigious event convened international student teams, representatives from universities and industry, as well as government officials, emphasizing the contest's status as one of the longest-running and most esteemed programming competitions globally. 5th Edition of “Arab Sustainable Development Week”

2024 World Junior Modern Pentathlon Championships
