1-Policy Purpose
This policy shows how AASTMT supports stakeholder engagement with the Policy Makers in the Egyptian Government, especially through scientific research for balanced access to justice and the promotion of political and human rights.
2-Policy Statement
Academic evidence and expertise can inform and improve government policy, but many academics find it difficult to contribute to policy-making. AASTMT shall support the Egyptian policy makers and authorities through scientific research, facilitating public engagement and a participatory approach for better governance.

AASTMT considers that supporting the policy makers in the Egyptian Government is one of its important priorities, especially through research and its’ researchers. AASTMT facilitates collaborative decision-making and civic engagement between researchers and national policymakers, establishing mechanisms for stakeholder engagement to support research uptake for the benefit of public policy design, delivery, and evaluation.
