    AASTMT always support Egyptian, local and regional governments in training, exchanging expertise and others, next section shows this commitment.

    AASTMT and Drug abuse and addiction awareness program

    To implement the National Strategy for Combating Drugs and Reducing the Risks of Abuse and Addiction "2024 - 2028" and to demonstrate the government's commitment to sustainable development and defending future generations, the Addiction Control and Treatment Fund, in collaboration with the AASTMT, launched a comprehensive program aimed at educating 29,000 male and female students about the dangers of drug abuse and addiction.

    Egyptian National Workshop at AASTMT

    AASTMT organized the workshop in cooperation with Suez Canal Authority and maritime industry and services authority. During the workshop activities experts discussed the capabilities of the operating entities in the Government of Egypt concerned with manufacture, construction and repair of ships and the challenges faces the ships field in Egypt.

    Kuwaiti Cultural attaché at AASTMT Campus

    The Kuwaiti attaché visited AASTMT and with the AASTMT president they discussed methods of cooperation, exchanging students and staff and conducting conferences and workshops. The visit and the partnership reflect the academy's commitment to supporting its diverse international student body

    AASTMT President participation in Qatar National Day

    AASTMT President, participated in the Qatar National Day celebration in December 2024. He congratulated Qatar on its National Day, emphasized the growing regional Egyptian-Qatari relations, and highlighted the importance of further cooperation in education, research, and trade between the two countries.

    Activities of AASTMT and Naif Arab University Scientific Seminar

    The seminar held at AASTMT in Alamien Campus, it was entitled “Integrated Border Management”. The seminar was attended by more than 110 specialists from different Arab countries.

    AASTMT- Obeikan Digital Solutions Agreement

    Obeikan Digital Solutions has recently embarked on a journey of supporting and accelerating the development of technology innovations through our partnership with AASTMT. The company signed an agreement with the Entrepreneurship center in AASTMT to support different startups in the industry and smart manufacturing sector.

    TRANSMEA 2023

    AASTMT participation in the 5th smart transport, logistics, infrastructure, & traffic fair& forum for the MEA Region. This conference was under the Slogan “Nationalization of the transportation industry in the Egypt”.

    During the meeting with the Egyptian Ambassador in Sudan specially after the war in Sudan, they discussed how AASTMT can support training and education in Sudan specially in sustainable development, technology, logistics.

    AASTMT-UAE Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure Agreement

    AASTMT signed a strategic partnership agreement to develop the maritime sector in UAE. Also, this agreement supports AASTMT Vision to enhance, develop and improve the Arab maritime sector by preparing nations’ youth and adolescents to be competent industry professional.

    Consul General of Palestine at AASTMT

    The Consul General of Palestine visited AASTMT Alamin Campus. The visit was part of AASTMT's ongoing efforts to build and strengthen regional and international relations. During the visit AASTMT President and the Consul discussed expanding cooperation between AASTMT and Palestinian Government and how AASTMT support refugees’ students.

    Arab Youth Media Creativity Summit – First Edition “Media that Inspires… Youth that Creates”

    AASTMT organized the first edition of the Arab Youth Media Creativity Summit, held under the theme “Media that Inspires… Youth that Creates.” The event was supported by the League of Arab States and the Egyptian Cabinet. The summit featured a series of panel discussions addressing key topics in the Arab media landscape, along with a variety of workshops and training sessions on modern media practices. These were delivered by leading media professionals and trainers, with the aim of developing the skills of young Arab media practitioners and enhancing their expertise.

    AASTMT is dedicated to using its academic and research resources to provide government agencies with knowledgeable counsel on a variety of topics. Through seminars, conferences, MOUs, and partnerships, AASTMT offers significant insights for local, national and regional Governments. The following section shows some examples of these cooperation.

    • Local: YepMed Project: it is a cooperation between AASTMT and Egyptian Ports in the maritime sector.
    • National: Egypt National Initiative for Smart Green Projects, and AASTMT and Ministry of Youth and Sports cooperation
    • Regional: AASTMT and the Arabian Academy Center for Naval Studies in Jeddah Cooperation.

    With a special emphasis on Egyptian ports, the YepMed Project showcases the cooperation between AASTMT and Egyptian Ports in the maritime sector. The YepMed Project is an essential platform for improving the workforce's capabilities in Egyptian ports, which helps the region's maritime industry grow as a whole.

    International TouMali Conference

    TouMali is committed to creating environmentally friendly waste management solutions that address the particular difficulties faced by the MENA area.

    The organization's objectives are to encourage cooperation amongst interested parties and stakeholders in order to put into practice solutions that are advantageous to both tourism and environmental conservation. The purpose of this conference is to provide a forum for exchanging best practices, information, and tactics for incorporating responsible waste management into the growth of the tourism industry while protecting marine environments.

    AASTMT and the Arabian Academy Center for Naval Studies in Jeddah Cooperation

    The Arabian Academy Center for Naval Studies in Jeddah has formed a collaborative partnership with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT). The goal of this partnership is to improve marine training, research, and education in the area.

    AASTMT, Naif Arab University, Frontex, and the UN Office of Counter Terrorism have forged a crucial collaboration through the scientific seminar series, which strengthens regional and international efforts to combat security issues, including terrorism.     Launching of RIPPLE Entrepreneurship Centers Development Program

     The goal of the RIPPLE Entrepreneurship Centers Development Program is to empower young people to become financially independent and achieve the financial freedom by encouraging an entrepreneurial culture in them.

    One important element in creating a thriving business ecosystem for young people is the RIPPLE Entrepreneurship Centers Development Program. In order to empower the upcoming generation of entrepreneurs and promote innovation and economic resilience, the program works with a variety of stakeholders.

    ISPRS Geospatial week (GSW 2023)

    (AASTMT hosted the ISPRS first Geospatial Week in Africa and Middle East in 2023 (GSW-2023) that will be held under the auspices of H.E Secretary-General of the League of Arab States. The conference will be held in September 2023, at the InterContinental Cairo Semiramis Cairo, Egypt. AASTMT strongly believes that science is the key to the future and the cornerstone for nations’ progress and prosperity.

    AASTMT Cooperation with Housing and Building National Research Center- Zamil Steel Building Company

    The Housing and Building National Research Center and Zamil Steel Building Company have partnered with the Arab Academy for Science, Technology, and Maritime Transport (AASTMT).     AASTMT – UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MOCCAE) Memorandum of Understanding

    AASTMT and MOCCAE signed an MOU to strengthen the partnership between them and to support UAE to achieve its goals related to developing the marine environment, fisheries protection, Artificial intelligence (AI) and decreasing the pollution and harmful emissions.

    H.E.
