Program Description

provides the broadest background and preparation for a wide range of career opportunities or graduate studies. Graduates who complete the Power Engineering program are prepared to pursue careers in thermal power systems design and development, machines installation, and maintenance. Included within its scope are studies in renewable energy systems design, selection and management and maintenance of both conventional and non-conventional power plants.

  • The mechanical engineering degree program reflects the trend in industry generally toward recruiting a greater proportion of graduates into executive positions. Mechanical Engineers play a major role in energy utilization and conservation, in solar energy, design and selection, management and maintenance of both conventional and non-conventional power plants. Heating, air conditioning and refrigeration, transportation and automotive fields, and in the field of mechatronics, automation, fluid machinery, production and processing machinery including the petroleum and chemical fields.
