Analyze the supply chain to identify wastes, remove waste, and make optimal decisions 4. Apply various methods to remove wastes and reduce errors 5. Utilize and apply lean supply chain tools based on innovative solutions to reduce waste 6. Organize time to conduct value stream mapping through effective teamwork and communication

Objectives

• The course aims at providing students with the principles of lean supply chain management and how it differs from traditional supply chain management. This course will focus on the elimination of waste, the efficient use of resources and the tools for continuous improvement. Students will learn about the Toyota lean philosophy and its application in the supply chain processes.
