This course serves as an introduction to spreadsheets and information and communication. It presents using the application. It introduces students to cells, rows and columns. It train students to edit data, search, Replace and Store. It teaches students to handle worksheets and arithmetic formulas. It introduces cell referencing and working with functions. It presents formatting. Then, it states the design of charts and graphs. It allows students to worksheet setup. In addition, it teaches students to search in the Internet. It introduces students to the security considerations and precautions. It familiarizes students to the search engines and teaches them to use electronic mail. It introduces preparation and printing.

Objectives

  • Understand some of the main concepts of data bases. Create and modify tables, queries, forms and reports. Retrieve and manipulate information from a database by using tools available in the package. Modify and prepare presentations, using different slide layouts for display and printed distribution. Demonstrate the ability to accomplish common operations with drawn objects and use various slide shows effects.
