Description

This course is an introduction to information systems and the technology used in the business and management field. It aims at familiarizing students with organization and managerial foundations of systems, the technical foundations for understanding information systems, the role of information systems in enhancing business processes and management decision making across the enterprise, and the process of building and managing systems in organizations. This course also focuses on the management of the digital firm, the internet and the wireless technology, the ethical and security issues related to information systems and enterprise applications.
